What I feel should be added to the Ace of Spades there are several things this games needs and I understand why stuff isn’t in there yet, it’s still in beta, but things I would love to have made in the game.

some sort of zoom in on the character who killed which displays health, name and weapon

-Wire or something of this idea, I feel there should be some sort of wiring system or at the least trip mines or trip cords it would add a level of paranoia to the game and it would use voxels to its fullest extent.

-a class approach ,add classes or more weapons please get your ideas from tf2 or css:s those games are masters at creating balanced but varying weapons.

If you go with the gun approach instead of a class one try a buy area that you can go and access at all times from there you could use some sort of points to buy things.

Try using blocks for the characters and weapons instead of bounded spheres everything would be sharper
Another thing a client it would be great to have a nice clean client where you can change options and connect to servers

I was also thinking if players could open a console to customize more and create serves and control them and stuff
Another thing is on the big map that covers the screen you should be able to hover your mouse over characters on the map and it will display their name

-a friends list (friends should show up on map as different color or custom)

-And the best one! CUSTOM SKINS THAT ARE SERVERSIDE I know this would be very hard to integrate considering the use of voxels and colors but I’m thinking that the helmet will always be on your head and will not be editable and the rest of your body will be editable except for a belt the belt will also be the color of your team so you can’t cheat. Chances are that custom models will get in the way of this function and downloading everyone’s skin may be a hassle on the user. But I am very sure that you can make a decent system if you decide to integrate it.

A lot of this has already been suggested numerous times.

The AoS server application is already controlled via console.

Weapons and characters use 2d squares, not spheres. When the openGL client is finished, you'll be able to play with smoother models.

How? i don't think you understand what balanced means. it means that any clas can take out any class or can sort of rock paper scissors kind of thing

Yeah, but, from what I understand, it is easier to take out an Scout using Heavy, and some classes depend on other classes to work well (e.g Medic and Heavy couple). Also, Spy.

Oh well, I can't really say anything, because my TF2 experience is extremely limited (half an hour on a friend's house), and because of that I can only say things from a kinda technical point of view, not the IG point of view.

BTW, Classes do not work. They limit you to a certain playstile, and that is horrid. Imagine if you want to have medkits, but the medic class limits you to use SMG and you hate SMG, because Rifle master race. A much better system would be with a third selecting screen for equipment, so first you choose Team, then Weapon, and then between, say, Pistol or Medkit or Ammo Pack or Grenades. It would be much more flexible and practical.

All of this except redstone has been suggested before. And personally I think redstone doesn't fit because of the pace of this game.
