Four Ideas That Could Benefit the Game.

I'm not sure if these are overly suggested but these three things I find seem to be missing from this game.

#1 ~ I think that Your character should be able to swim.
This may cause lag though because Maps would also have to generate underwater structures.

# 2 ~ Water should break fall damage.
This could add a whole new concept to AoS. Diving from a great height into water.

#3 ~ Achievements.
Not a whole lot to this. 100 kills, 50 kills, 25 kills, 1st kill. (So on and so forth)

#4 ~ Server mod.
This means that if the "Owner" of the server has a mod (Speaking mainly to firearms), the whole server is granted with the modded guns for that game only. Of course after a little extra loading.

2. No. I dont know if you know, but in real life if you fall in water from a certain height, it is going to be just as if you fell on a road, depending on your body's position.

Yes, but that height I have yet to see in an AoS server, assuming that one block is 1.5 feet tall (Character would be 4.5 ft) and even then you would fall feet first, unless Aos adds a way to track bones broken, I highly doubt it.
And still yet, the idea says that water would BREAK fall damage, not deplete wholly.

The water is 1 block deep! How would that break your fall?! None of these have been OVER suggested but maybe a few times. At least these were OK :) About the 4th: Just like PXYC said. This will be brilliant!! People wanting vehicles: No need to worry, Mat is here.

Mythbusters prooved you wrong :) Although the damage isn't exactly the same, it's still going to kill you if you fall from high enough.

Ok for the suggestion:

#1 I actually would like it too.
#2 Well...Try falling into water with 40kg on your back, it hurts...
#3 And the point of that ?

#1 ~ No point, water is only 1 block deep. You try swimming in water that is knee deep, it isn't fun.

# 2 ~ Yup, but not too much, it is only 1 deep after all.

#3 ~ No thanks, achievements are a cancer on the gaming industry. You can just say "I got 100 kills", no need for some shitty badge.

#4 ~ Your particular example is already possible using pyspades.

None of you are listening, the first suggestion is that you could swim
Meaning that the water would be deeper,
Plus you are diving into water feet first in a GAME
And as to one of the comments pertaining to the amount of weight on your back
I don't see any knapsacks, do you?

water should break fall damage by 1/2 and begin to break it by less and less until it is just as painful as hitting a block

Maybe there aren't any bags/backpacks, but there is a gun, grenades, the spade and 50 blocks on your back, so i don't think the characters are as light as feathers.

They jam, well, actually most of the time they do. Thats why one of the military tests before adapting a firearm is to test how well firing it does after having water down the barrel and in the breach.
