You know the feeling when you know you got the kill, you shoot them, you accidentally only hit the body, then
somebody comes along and steals the kill. This frustrating and has happened to me many times before.
So if this happens it would be for example:
Random Guy killed Qwerty (Headshot) ,assisted by Asdfgh .

Kill assist would be useful for only one thing in AOS : kill confirmation. Sometimes we don't know if a teammate finished an enemy we were shooting at, or if the enemy just takes cover. A kill confirmation would solve this problem

Maybe give the guy who assisted in killing the enemy half a point?
Or modify the point system so a kill is 10 points, assist 5 points, capping intel 100 points, etc.

Weird , stupid and no. I would rather see kill-streaks then adding a useless and crap implantion to make you feel better if you weren't fast enough(or skilled) to kill a enemy.

It is not about feeling better. It is about making sure that the sniper you tried to kill is now neutralized and wont be a problem anymore, or that that tuneller you almost killed is done, not crawling towards the intel.
