I know a lot people don't like what Ben said about killstreaks, and I don't either, however, if they are done properly, it could create some great outcomes. What I DON'T want chopper gunner, attack dog, MOAB killstreaks. What I do want are little bonuses. Maybe for 4 kill in a row, you get one grenade, or for 5 kills a health pack that you can only give to teamates. I THINK that would work, (and remember, these are just examples. killstreaks don't have to be the same). What are you're thoughts community?

Increases the divide between good and bad players if they're too strong. I would fully support supportive killstreaks such as a medkit. Either way I don't mind, I'm the one dominating 30-3 on CoD because of OP killstreaks.

lol. Oh and, yes, my main look on killstreaks is that they should help the team, not one player.

- Give a small amount of ammo or heals or blocks to all players on the team.
- Show enemies on map for a brief time (eg when activated mark enemy locations on the map and have them fade over 10 seconds - the locations would not over it is just where they were at time of scan), whole team can see this
- Spawn a secondary CP for a short time at your location, can be used to heal etc like a regular CP, but cannot be used as intel return point. If it takes any damage from an enemy player it is destroyed.
- Anti-material mortar strike.
- Blocks supply crate, has 100 blocks inside it and will replenish blocks up to the max of 50 for any player that touches it (think CP but only replenishes blocks, and only replenishes up to 100 total). Also could have ammo and medical supply crates.

Keep in mind the word "killstreaks" doesn't always refer to the killstreak rewards we see in CoD, for all we know it may just be a server announcements for killstreaks at milestone values, like 5, 10, 20, etc.

And I severely hope that's all it is. I don't like killstreak rewards, they draw attention away from the actual game objectives because people start to focus too much on raw kills.

Didn't Ben say he hated the "MONSTER KILL" etc shoutouts like in Quake? So I would say server announcements are very unlikley.


Perhaps give team wide intel-streak rewards?
If your team caps 1 intel: heal team
If your team caps 2 intel in a row (without enemy capping any inbetween): get healed and blocks replenished
if your team caps 3 intel in a row: get healed, blocks and ammo.

Much more powerful than individual streaks.

I'll just copypaste:

I'm fine with killstreaks, as long as they aren't any "HEADSHOT!!" shouting, and as long as they don't give you much advantage.

It would be cool if from every 10th kill you got a medikit pack, which would heal ONLY your teammates with 25 hp, even if they are dead. So if someone just lost his life, a teammate who has gained 10 kills in a row, could revive him to 25 hp, though he could also keep on healing if he had more medikits.

In my opinion, this would not be overpowered nor unclassy, but a good reward encouraging teamplay.

As we no longer have a pickaxe, its slot could be used for all kinds of special elements like this, as I'm sure there will be more of them in the future.

Possible looks for it?

Well that's not quite what I had in mind, I was thinking just a little silent message in the console saying "_____ is on a _ killstreak" or something.
Same idea as how the headshot identifier is a silent little text in the killfeed, rather than an audible "BOOM HEADSHOT" sound clip and a giant popup or anything like that.

Nice, nice, nice. Now killstreaks doesn't give the better player even more advantage over the people with less skills, instead they also help the team and feed the hunger of those COD people.

Though I wouldn't want them to be so big majority in the game itself. It still should be staying kind of small thing among the other features.

What about squad kilstreak.A squad needs X amount of kills to gain let's say medkit/ammo/block box,mortar,MG.

I've played on servers that have medkits and airstrikes, but never both. I also had an idea about mg killstreaks
