One awesome effect of these new forums, is permissions. We can set different levels for users in different places.
In the coming days we will be assigning new moderators to specific sections of the forum, but for now we would like to welcome.. Tank and CptCrow as Global Moderators!
They'll be watching over the place, with the brief to keep it clean and tidy.
They're another point of contact if you get stuck, and they'll see post reports along with the rest of the staff.
So do give them a wave when you see them :>

Moderators are picked by the Administrative staff.

Iv strongly believed for a while now that more moderators were required on the forums. And i couldn't have made better choices myself :]
The permissions idea is pretty good, that way you can monitor them, see how there doing etc if they need advice and blahblahblah.
And having them each moderate a particular category will let them focus more on THAT area, and keep it clean. So whoever thought of doing that, good job.
