Does managing your own server cost money?

A single AoS server can use a full core at 3.2 Ghz, with RAM usage climbing as high as 2500MB.

I'd like to see some stats on that. none of my server uses more that 250MB RAM

Yep, I run 3 servers and have NEVER seen RAM go higher than 768MB.

Yep, I run 3 servers and have NEVER seen RAM go higher than 768MB.

I haven't either in 0.75 however at the time of the post, I was seeing 2400MB peaks.
Now the max I've seen is 400MB, which is about the same as quoted I believe as 387m was in VIRT.
Over 1TB of bandwidth per month though on 24 slot servers, so it's still a great deal.


For a budget solution, $5 Xen VDS from jesthosting.com has 512MB of RAM (not ran by me).
