Hmm, don't think I can make the April 4th Deadline but I've been planning to do a video for ages and now that I've learnt how to use Adobe After Effects it will be at a much higher standard. Oh and if we do create a super awesome video, can we monetize it?

I'm a YouTube partner, I can make money off my video's. I haven't monetized the current trailer as it has someone else's music. The guy released his music as Creative Commons so along as you don't make money off it then your free to use it, edit it, remix it etc.

Inception music is so overused, probably cuz it's easy to make trailer with it.

Also you need to put the video link in the submission topic.

I'm uploading my video right now, but it's going to take a while because of my awful internet speed [edit: posted in the other thread now]. I do have a quick question - I am a YouTube partner which means I can monetize my videos (basically I can put ads up next to them and make money off of them) - are we allowed to do this with AoS?

I've been meaning to ask for a while since I've been looking to make some videos on AoS and this was the perfect opportunity to ask. I can't find any terms of service or anything so I figured it would be best to ask here! Of course if you don't want me to monetize any videos I understand.

Well, I wouldnt want the trailer on the main page to load a video commercial before viewing it. I am ok with the little banner that pops up at the bottom.

I am not sure how much control you have over the adverts and when and where they are displayed.

Also, anything off the main page feel free to monetize any way you want
