I have suddenly thought of an WONDERFUL idea!

When someone lags, the screen turns black, they cannot shoot, they are unkillable, and they cannot move. They can still chat, but that's all. If you play games like Assault Cube you will know what a mean. Why do that? Because I just hate it when my health is something like 1 and then I fall down a cliff cause of lag. If you stop moving, then you CAN'T accidently kill yourself! If your screen is black, you cannot spy on people. Now that is a GOOD idea!

Oh my god do you have any idea how bad this would be for someone like me? I play with a high ping so have constant lag, what you are suggesting is a strobe-light of black screens. Oh, and half the time I can't move or shoot, that sounds fun. It also sounds fun to be the guy shooting at me, and me being invincible! Besidse that, what is "lag"? How much delay is too much? Obviously you are suggesting more than .4 seconds, but .4 is plenty enough for you to walk off a cliff anyway!!

The way the protocol is set up it is fairly lag resistant. The chances of falling down a cliff are crazy low.

I don't really get how this is possible, you have to be facing and walking towards a cliff edge when you lag for this to happen.

What kinds of ping and latency do you usually get?
