Change "Sample Color" function key to "MOUSE3":

Requesting for the "Sample Color" default function key (E) to be change to "MOUSE3" (Middle-mouse button). Who agrees?

Not all mice have a middle button (the ancient ones, at least). Anyway, you can change the controls by yourself in controls.ini.

That wont work, it only supports keyboard buttons, so you cant change it to the middle mouse button with it.

I'm pretty sure 99% should have mouses with middle mouse button already. When I first played the new patch I tried clicking middle mouse button for color to change though (forgot that it was "E").

You can still map it to a key. He's suggesting MOUSE3 to be default.

I wonder why left mouse button can't do both functions - click & drag and normal block placement. Would be much more simple then wondering which button to click to build

I normally use MOUSE3 for "jump".
but in AoS I can't map mouse keys...

normally MOUSE4 is reload,
and MOUSE5 is irons.

I still have trouble using the all-keyboard control system, I'm just not that coordinated to jump, crouch, sprint/walk with one hand. I need two hands involved...
