SMG jamming bug

I'm fairly sure this is a bug and not a feature.
When I get an airstrike and full heal/reload from a killstreak, the smg sometimes gets stuck on 27 bullets and will no longer fire; only giving the familiar click of an empty gun.
Currently, switching to the spade and left clicking, then switching back to the smg, firing one bullet, then reloading fixes this for me. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

A quick tip:
If you want to make sure your smg isn't jammed, try scoping. If you can't scope, it's jammed.

Yeah i had this bug before few times. One time switching, reloading, nothing worked so i had to suicide. And i think it was once on SEMI too.

...and shotgun too. That has happened to me sometimes, usually with the smg. I've got no experiences about semi's though.

in order to fix this, just take out your shovel and hit some blocks a few times and it is now fixed :D

In what situation did you get this bug?


I have only gotten it as a result of extreme lag (aka when I disconnect from a server). I have never gotten it while normally playing.

I almost always get this bug with the Semi,not the SMG.For me,simply switching to the shovel,reloading with the shovel,and switching back to the rifle,usually works.

For me, it just says reload, but i already reloaded.
is this the jam?
mine just stops shooting, and says that I have to reload, even though I already reloaded....

especally on Zombies script servers
everytime i kill a zombie, it refills me but then my smg got jammed
on normal servers this still happens, same with other guns
(did it or i have a bad connection?)

I get this sometimes too. It seems to be pretty common, so I'm going to sticky it to reduce duplicate threads.

I get this bug very often with the SMG. I'd be shooting and reload and suddenly Click!. I have a full mag and still click. I try reloading but it doesn't fix the issue, I can switch weapons and it doesn't fix the issue. the only way is to get out the shovel and break a block then the gun works again.

it's really irritating and it happens randomly, most often during a reload, sometimes when I'm at the tent (command post) and resupply right when I reload this jam happens.

on average, per hour it happens something like 5-10 times. I dunno whether its something about my computer/software that causes it so often or that I tend to spray-n-pray and since i shoot (lot) more, the bug occurs more often.

AHHA i have had an epifany!!! it might be lag related. like howmay things are going on! like when someone goes on in skype i lags out for a second.
