How would it be a big advantage?
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

With fog off you can see much further. If I can see you and you can't see me, then I am at quite an advantage.
For example you may think you are being all sneaky circling around flanking where I can't see, but I can then just avoid where you are heading and sneak up behind you easily.

We're not talking about fog... We're talking about weather weapon mods should be visible or not.
