Ideas, suggestions, and things you wish could be in Ace of Spades.

I always thought of a bunch of great ideas, so I thought I'd share them.  Hopefully the producer(s) will see this!

Let's all rack together our ideas and make a wonderful idea/suggestion topic.  I'll begin with my stuff, you guys can think of stuff and I could add it to the original post.

Items/weapons: Brand new items/weapon additions to the game.

Bazooka- Fires a rocket, only with a slightly bigger explosion radius than the grenade, not brick damage but the explosion force that kills players.  It'd be great for support and it'd really introduce explosive warfare.

Flamethrower- Burn out bunkers, short distance, barely damages bricks.  If shot in the back, you'll explode in a fiery death.

Sidearm- Pistols and revolvers.  Basically something to whip out in the middle of battle when you're dry on ammo or in mid battle.  It'd really change up the game and add lots more modifications.

LMG- A light machine gun, high damage, big boxes of ammo, and very bad accuracy, long reload times.  The ammo is 75 max, you get 150 only.  Giving you two full magazines, the gun shoots slow, so use the ammo wisely.

Molotov- Like a grenade, but doesn't bounce, doesn't have time and makes a smaller, lasting, fiery explosion.  It'd be great for flushing out bunkers and it'd be great for rushers.

Mortar- Small, portable artillery that you can carry around. Great support for fellow players and you could defend bases/towns/etc.  It'd come with mobile mode, and deployed mode.  In mobile, you carry it, and in deployed you fire it.

Medpack- Heal yourself or a player!  Drop to heal players, click to heal yourself.

Ammo box- Ammo, ammo, and more ammo!  Simple deployable ammo, just because sharing is caring.

Muzzle flare- Basically just muzzle flare, it'd be cool and make the game interesting.

Gamemodes: Making the game more fun by the second.

Improved set-up- allowing you to disable/enable certain weapon use and making team specific weapons.  It'd make gamemodes like the zombie gamemode all the better.

Spy- It appears a group of spies have snuck into the fort! Basically a small group of players would be chosen as the spies, the rest of the people are soldiers.  The soldiers must search the place to find the spies.  The soldiers get default weaponry and there is only 1 life.  Spies on the other hand get knives, explosives, and a sidearm.  Their job is to either steal the intel (there's only one, and it's the soldiers intel) or kill everyone.  They have one life as well.  I find this interesting too because it'd go nicely with Ace of Spades.

Assault/Defend- One team spawns somewhere around the fort, the other spawns in the fort, making it an attack defend scenario.  The attackers would have to get in the enemy base and destroy some sort of objective.  The defenders would have to fight them off for a designated time.  It'd introduce so much more cool maps and add a fun, great gamemode to the game.

Miscellaneous: For all you're odd needs!

Weapon set choosing- Basically you just choose a set of weapons.  You can save/load these on every server, they have hotkeys as well.

Item dropping- Pressing either 'g' or 'f' to drop your item.  This would be great for teamwork and it go nicely if we had medpacks.

Parachute- A simple parachute, press 'n' or any other key set up.  It can either be used once, or as much as you like.  You would be able to set a limit for them in the server config.

Collapse damage- If something falls on you, depending on the size, it might hurt you... Or even kill you!

Fixes: Stuff that should be fixed in the game to make it better!

Weaker weapons- Claimed in several threads, guns are too powerful.  They easily tear through buildings and make building nearly useless.  A group of raiders can puncture holes all over your bunkers in a matter of seconds.  It'd be nice to have weaker weapons.

That's all for now, hopefully we can get some good ideas in here.  Don't yell at me for re-suggesting ideas, I'm just trying to make a collection of good ideas.  I want mine to be viewed the way I thought of them.

I definitely like some of these ideas. However, I think that the explosive weapons can only be introduced after some form of anti-griefing measures are implemented in-game.

I see, and I know that, I just think we need a collection of idea's jammed into one topic.

I can image a blaze of pixelated fire burning in people's facing, it'd be quite interesting.

The fuel would run out quickly of course, making it a weapon you use to flush out buildings.

Very interesting idea you have their I think this can be something good in game.
Also I think this will and always be hard to implement in the game,I mean it took so long time to make the ground pixels and explosions for Ben to make(it's obvious that it was)so I guess this might be a very big thing your coming up with here

i would rather have an secondary pistol than other weapons
seriosly a RPG will make AoS an griefers heaven(for us its HELL)
Muzzel flares of cousre are cool and makes the game more realistic, but will need crazy coding :)

Well the RPG isn't going to act as much of a "destroyer", it'll still break like one block and hurt a little where ever it hits. But what makes it different is that it's used like a grenade, exept that it flies forward and spins slighly. It'd replace the grenade and you'd be able to choose between them. You would be able to carry two rockets only.

The other weapons are just thoughts I think would be pretty cool and make the game more intense.

as you siad earlier 'bout RPGs "more powerful than a nade" absoluetly no.

OH YEAH,because CoD is the only game with many weapons,like,BF3 and all the other shooters are just a lie.

I still think more weapons are unnecessary

Really? CoD has about 30+ weapons, all I'm asking for is some extra explosives and an mg. I don't see why you guys are going crazy about this, besides, just because you add a couple of guns doesn't mean the game becomes CoD. This game is no-where close to related to CoD. CoD doesn't have mortars, or flamethrowers or medpacks and ammo boxes, stop nagging at creativity, just because some people want content doesn't mean it's bad.

That is exactly what I think.Of course,EVERYTHING that isnt implemented the right way can end up being extremely useless or even make the game unfunny.

Basic things:

>Sidearm
gets automatically pulled out when you are out of ammo, or maybe it just fills another slot, but its really hard since everyone has grown accustomed with 1) spade 2) block 3) weapon 4) grenade, putting your sidearm on 5 would be weird, but viable, also, my USP skin is rotting deep inside my skin folder
 
>Flamethrower
maybe the most radical of my ideas, or maybe its because i just love flamethrowers, anyway, as a primary weapon, sacrifices any chance of ranged combat for deadly close quarters weapon, and since i like to think that AoS takes place before the Geneva Convention, it would fit nicely
 
>Player models for each team
playerdeadgreen.kv6, playerhandsblue.kv6, playertorsocgreen.kv6 are all files that i would want to see, i dont think it would be such a hard thing to implement in the game, but i damn you not, having different looking teams is awesome, while of course still using the hue 0, 0, 0 color to be replaced for the team color in-game
 
Misc.:
>bring back drunk vision
>remove auto-build
>remove sprinting

thats pretty much for me i guess...
