last thread was a failure, and i can just say something which will only reduce the space taken by AoS.

REMOVE HEADSHOTS

every time someone suggests to remove headshots, trolls come out and start trying to say the suggester is an idiot.
and you know why? well i don't know why. go ask yourself. and maybe leave ideas alone if you're a troll, or someone who hates the ideas posted.

im not being an idiot here. i am very good at finding what the problems are. usually, when i suggest to change something, i:
1. think about what im getting frustrated or bored with
2. find a solution
3. roll the solution around my head to see if it's going to hurt the community
step 1 is so easy, all you do is play the game.
step 2 takes a while
step 3 can take weeks of failure and going back to step 2, until the solution passes. although some ideas get passed through without proper step 3 treatment. many ideas. and i know i've done it a few times.

but i've just been playing AoS, and realised something. i ragequited.

ragequitting normally seems like a childish thing to do, and it is if it's about getting hurt or killed. however, if it is genuine frustration, like the type you get when the other side is using hacks and cheats to win, then it means there is something wrong that is happening in the game (not something wrong with the game. I'm sure FPS games aren't at fault here) and i keep getting that. and i discovered the problem was...*gasp*...that i did NOT like getting killed instantly at the battle!

lame attempt at sarcasm there. but seriously, i found headshots were causing me grief more than anything in the game. i mean the other frustrations there keep me in the game, because it feels realistic (it's actually because i realised i was a pussy if i ragequited for THAT stuff. i knew it was only fair play and i knew i just had to get better) but headshots just seem to make it near impossible to dominate the skilled players. it's just frustrating to try a sparta manuvure (madness if you try it) only to get gunned down by the players you can't see.

i guess i am more of an RPG guy than a FPS, but heck i enjoy FPS. (not in the same way i enjoy RPG though)

and don't you try and stop me. if you want to drag down the suggestion forum (like the runescape forum) then you need to leave. if you think AoS is perfect as it is, AoS being the BETA FPS IT IS then change your attitude.

EDIT: and lower the damage. just played some AoS and discovered that the damage was a bit high.
and to clear it up i have never played a single FPS before this one. (i did play TF2 but in TF2 you instantly die from headshots as well. think about it)

Whenever this is suggested everyone says they dislike this idea for a variety of reasons. So you just say "everyone who dislikes it is a troll" and make a new thread? What the heck?


Anyway, you should not take getting hit as the first sign of enemies in the area. By the time you are hit you should be well aware that you are in an area that is likely to have enemies - in general that is, there are also sneak attacks that could kill you before you know it.
You SHOULD be watching your map for tracers and the positions of your friendlies (there is unlikely to be an enemy in an area with 6 friendly deuces), and you should keep your eyes open.

Ok, ok, trying to calm down.....*inside my head* HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA...* Ok, so if you would be shot in the head in real life you would survive ? Also you mentioned fair play, but it seems that you don't understand what fair means, when you headshot someone it's fair, but when someone else headshots you, it's not ? Also a little tip from me, if an idea has been shot down countless times, i think it means that people don't like the idea and you should NOT and i repeat NOT try to make another thread about the SAME idea...
