Think an idea through, do not just post what comes to mind. Have you thought about:

Will a campaign mode fit the gameplay of AoS?
In AoS, a single shot can kill you. How will this work out in a campaign mode?
How would destruction and construction fit into the linear world of campaign?
Could you make an entire game about blue/green invading the other for no reason what-so-ever?
At this point in development, should this be the focus of the devs?

To be honest, I can't be bothered to post any more, but I'm pretty confident the list would surpass that of what can fit in a single post. You did not think this through, you thought:

Eh, CoD has a fun campaign. Why doesn't AoS have one?

Do you want to know why, because AoS is a completely different game, almost its own genre. This is a multiplayer focused game, hence its it being primarily inspired by TF2. A campaign is not something that every game should have, it's a long process that would require huge amounts of work for a result that would be pretty poor due to the restrictions of AoS gameplay.

Guys hes on to something. Blue and Green must team up to get to the Tacobell Pizzahut combo. Meanwhile they learn the true value of FRIENDSHIP and TEAMWORK as they blow up blockback mountain while escaping an army consisting of Glowing ones, Ninjas, Bulblaxs, Starmen, xenomorphs, the apes from Ape Escape, and the disembodied head of Abraham Lincoln. During the adventure theyre being hounded by Chuckles the silly piggy, who needs them to fix the broken leg of his table because it keeps spilling his milk. This is all divided into 6 chapters resident evil style. The final fight pits you against a Cyborg Trex with a jet pack and wazer wifle because why the duck not.

Can i suggest buying the license from GWS to use Genestealers as xenomorphs? That whould be awesome.
