I think that when a player has choosen his gun, he should also choose between 1. the mine, 2. the grenade and 3. the RPG . A mine should be placed IN a block and when a mine is placed, a flag should appear there for friendly players. For enemies, there should be a big circle on the map that shows that there is a mine in an area of 10x10 blocks or so. When the block with the mine would be destroyed, the mine should explode. A mine should make the same damage as a grenade. If an enemy has also choosen the mine, he should be able to deactivate a mine and pick it up to use it(but all this should take some time).
