Okay, trying to tiptoe my way round the above argument here as best I can, I don't think this should be implemented. It's just going to promote the quickscopers who have Battlefield (yes, there are quickscopers in Battlefield. I know one.) and CoD. Sure, it makes the game look a bit better, but it doesn't really fit in with the blocky, cartooniness of it. Just like those who make non-blocky ironsights. It just seems out of place.

Please, don't get pissed at me. pls

I also kinda might want an ability to switch firing modes. When i use the smg, i crouch and semi but sometimes i burst fire by accident. Semi helps my accuracy :P

Ooh, now selective fire is something I like, AND see no problems with. Especially since the SMG is so powerful XD

Nah i just realized OpenGL version will look as sexy as i want it to be. Though i need some more intel on it, like if its free or not, and when it comes out :P
BUT what i do want is fire selector, toggle crouch, and hold to aim rather than click to toggle aim.

Rumors are saying it'll come out at the end of summer, and it'll cost 10 bucks to get the OpenGL version which jumps straight to 1.0. Voxlap will have slower updates, but is free.

wait, so both voxlap wont have openl gl graphics? im not quite sure what voxlap is but iknow what opengl is

I thought the sexier graphics were coming in 0.76. I could be mistaken.

Well, either way both versions will get it, but the Voxlap version will come slower (that's what she said). I'm not sure what Voxlap IS, I just know that's the name of the free version.

VOXLAP is the engine used to run the game. The VOXLAP version is going to remain free, with the old graphics and less features. The OpenGL version is going to jump directly to 1.0, will cost and has the nicer graphics.

I haven't taken the time to read through all the comments, but I want to say bravo to the creator. The graphics are crappy. And while we don't want to take away from the romantic blockyness, we can improve the graphics.

Bad graphics != Blockyness

OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS ARE STUPID! Seriously, discounting an idea just because it is in other games? What are you idiots?

And about that guy complaining about quick-scoping, I already quick-scope. It's easy to do.

Nah, AoS is easier to appreciate. Why be mainstream when you can be new?
Besides, I play Battlefield 1942. No ironsights in that game and it's one of the best WWII FPS I've ever played.
Also, Animation with voxels?
That'd be very difficult if not impossible.

Possible, but as you said hard.

Anyways, yes, a game doesn't have to have iron sights to be good. But they make for a better, nicer game.
