Well, we could have http://ace-spades.com redirect to the proper country by looking up their IP in a GeoIP database. We could then have http://ace-spades.com/en/ or http://ace-spades.com/fr/, and so on. That would make it so we wouldn't have to have a seperate website for everything.

The people that speak English but live somewhere else could just go directly to http://ace-spades.com/en/ if they wanted to play with other people that speak English.

I don't see a big problem with people who don't speak english joining, it's not like your squad tactics would work anyway. things will sort themselves out with servers hosted in different countries I think

A better sollution would be to have the server set to a default language and then when someone types in different languages, the game would some how detect that and translate it. other than that, its kind of racist to separate people based on race, assuming they speak diffferent languages, and not letting them play together.

how would it know what language we speak/read? if we had to edit that in the config, then we would need to know english in order to say that we dont know english...

And im pretty sure he had race in mind when he said "foriegners.

What about the actual meaning of the word, that is "people from other countries"?
