Rifle Butting

I'm a big fan of the silent tip toe behind the enemy, and spade em to death.

But often times in CQB, I have a lot of trouble pulling out my spade, and avoiding a guy with a shotgun 3 blocks away from me.

So, I thought of a rifle butt ability. Basically, if an enemy is close enough (1 - 2 block radius), and you fire, you will automatically rifle butt your enemy. This will do the same amount of damage as a spade will.

Any thoughts? Just believed it be handy when I am rushing to grab my spade, when I can instead run up and rifle butt them to death.

I thought it was more like Left 4 Dead, when you shove people(zombies) away.
Welp, it could add some more stuff: like when you shove people away(let me call the guy get shoved Duece 1, for instance) Duece 1 get stunned for, like, 2-3 seconds. In that amount of time you could quickly get your spade out and kill him, or use your weapon. Now all if all weapons get this ability, then if you are fast enough, or the other guy "deucey" enough, then one of you will dead. And shoving like that could kill people, too, but takes about 4-5 "butt" to kill a duece. Did i mention that each "butting" takes 10-20 health?

Eh, I don't like it. We really don't need it. Spades are useful for 2 things, hitting, and digging. If we add butting then your pretty much taking out one of of those uses. making it half as useful.

Make spades a insta-kill and rifle butting a 2 hit kill.

Me. They're quite useful when you're going CQB on say Minit US - Assault.

Let's look at it like this

You're in a warzone. There's a guy in front of you, about to blow your brains out.

Do you put away your gun, grab your shovel, and start whacking him with it

Or just hit him with your gun?

Nope, just use spade if you want to melee people, we dont need to give a long range weapon another instant shortrange kill.

Or... just shoot him? It's way faster to pull a trigger than to swing a rifle butt, not to mention way more effective.

Adding melee attacks to the weapons would be somewhat redundant as we already have the spade for it. Even if the attack only did half the damage of the spade or similar to make using the spade worthwhile, switching to spade isn't all that slow in any case. Skilled players would either keep pancakes to the spade or just land a headshot. It's just a matter of reflexes and getting used to.

Shouldn't the shottgunner deserve that win for getting a riflemen off guard? I think this suggestion is disturbing weapon damage even more.

When you rifle butt somebody, he becomes unconscious for a few seconds and you have a 3 options then.

first option : Kill him you get a emblem for a small duration pointing out that you killed somebody in CQB
Second option : Take his remaining blocks.
third option: Strap nades on him and let him play so when he is near a friendly player it will do BOOM !
