Gamemode: Demolition/Assassination

Got a great new idea for the game?

Gamemode: Demolition/Assassination

For demolition:
1. Team gets a huge fort (green), and the other team (blue) gets a huge bomb.
2. Blue has 20 minutes to grab the bomb and drag it (yes, drag.) into the green base, then detonate it inside a designated room, killing every player, blue and green, in a large proximity and ending the match.
3. Mechanics:
When a blue player gets close to the bomb, he can press Q to activate a 'dead mans trigger' on the bomb and start hauling it. While hauling, he moved at 10% of his base speed. However, a buddy can haul with him for +15% movement speed for them both. If all blue players let go of the bomb or die, the bomb will blow up 5 seconds later with a blast radius 3 times that of a grenade. The bomb doesn't destroy blocks except for the green base upon winning the match.
If the green team can keep the bombrunners away from the base for 20 minutes, they win.

For Assassination:
1. One team (blue) spawns in a secret underground bunker, and the other team (green) spawns in a HUGE fort with one of their players randomly selected to be the general.
2. Blue has 20 minutes to sneak into the fort stealthily and kill the general.
3. Mechanics:
Blue can only use the carbine, because of the perceived need for stealth. Green can use any weapon.
The general has 300 health and regenerates 3 HP/second, making killing him a combined effort.
Once a green player sights a blue, the blues position is revealed on the map to all green players until the viewing player either is killed or loses vision.

In demolition are you able to damage the green fort with a spade, grenade etc. and are you able to build cover, also will the bomb be "physical" as in actually be there, be seeable, or it will appear like an item and if the bomb is physical can you control the direction of dragging it or is it just a straight run to the room ?

Now for assassination, do you really think all of the blues will be stealthy ? I think that they will just rush the enemy lines and die a horrible and painful death.

1. The only thing that can modify blocks inside greens fort is the bomb. Cover, etc. can be built everywhere else on the map. The bomb is physical, yes. I imagine it like a large bomb about the size of the intelligence that 'follows' the dragging player.

2. That's their own dang fault. Green will get an easy ride if blue doesn't cooperate. This game mode could even force the CoDfags outta here, since they'll almost never win.

Interesting game modes, but:
1. In demolition I'd made only single specific room (something like 5x5x5) to be destructible only with bomb - rest should work as always. Because destroying/modifying defences is important part of the gameplay that I don't want to see removed.
2. Both modes could work like: one team defends, and gains x points per second. When enemy successfully demolish/assassin, sides are shifted and now second team defends and gets points. This way defending for 19:59 is achievement, not failure, and scoreboard represent that.
3. Both modes could work as two-sided battle (where both team have generals/bases at the same time), but with usual dumb crowd mind on public servers everyone would go and attack without any defending... so one-sided are probable better.

One sided is best, but I'd rather keep the unmodifiable fort in order to prevent green griefers.

game mode resource wars

ala (company of heroes) you need certain resources to make your team stronger.and hold those control points, scattered around the map.(sort of CTF,but the flags would be resource points

Like

ammo
man power.
fuel
