Now that in the next update, we will have the auto updater.I want this option, that you can keep your old custom mods, instead of redownloading them every update. I would ask,"Keep old kv6, press YES, or update with default kv6 press NO."

Or you could just copy/paste your old mods into another folder and copy/paste them back in instead of redownloading them.

But yeah, I see where you're coming from and this would be a nice feature. But it's definitely not going to be a priority anytime soon seeing as there's such an easy way to avoid getting your mods overwritten.

I support this idea BUT...
If a anti-laser light function comes out, it wouldn't probably check OLD mods. Maybe have a auto laser light checker?
