I've always had these ideas in the back of my head. A few of them have been suggested already but some of them I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.
1. Click to Airstrike
This idea has been asked a lot and I think it'll make airstriking a lot more easier as you won't have to search for the square you want to put the airstrike in, and it's a lot quicker than type /airstrike COORDINATE. I've seen a video on YouTube which has implemented this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EEcwYQgMLg&feature=related
2. Change weapons in the tent
I've seen this idea before in the old forums and I really like it. It would be cheap just to allow you to change your weapon anywhere as you might have worked your way into the enemy's base, and you just switched from and SMG to a rifle which wouldn't be fair. If you were in your own base however, you could go to your tent and switch weapons without dying. I think it evens out the penalty of death as you have to be in your own base to switch weapons.
3. Indicator of person carrying intel
So basically, if you've gone to the other side and noticed that the intel was gone, you'd probably be wondering who had the intel. To make things easier for players, instead of type /intel to find who on your team has the intel, you would hold tab and the person carrying the intel would have a "*" beside their name. That would save some time from searching who had the intel.
4. Spotting
This is an idea I've seen in Portal 2 and ironically in one of the worst games ever (in my opinion) Runescape. When you would open the map, you can click anywhere on the map, and it would create an invisible point or a "spot". Then on your minimap, an indicator would point towards the spot to guide you towards it. This spot would only be visible to you and/or your squadmates. Another variant of this idea would be spotting players. When you look at a player and hit a certain key, the player would change colour on the minimap and maybe in game. This would make it easier for people playing with friends to locate each other. When in a squad, squadmates would automatically be coloured a different colour so you would know who they are. The altered colours however would only be visible to the spotter and not visible to other players. A spotted player would be coloured yellow and a squadmate would be coloured red.
Anyways those are my ideas for the game.
I also apologize if I have reposted some ideas.
Suggestions?
