Throw back grenades

Title says it all.
If a grenade is thrown at you and lands very close to you a indicator will appear saying "press (whatever button) to throw back" if your not quick enough it will blow up in you face or ill throw it far enough to not kill you or kill the person who threw it in the first place.
People will begin to consider cooking the grenade more before throwing and throwing muiltable

Well today i have been thinking of a way to save your selves from grenades and stop overthrowing grenades.So what i came up is i reckon you should be able to delfect grenades with your spade in order to save yourselves.Also shooting the grenades in midair should potentially cause the grenade to blow up.If a grenade got thrown from behind a wall you can either shoot them in midair which causes to blow up or deflect it by using your trusty spade.Also You would be able to use it as a strategy where your overthrow you grenade purposely,then shooting the grenade to blow it up right on the spot.

I liek the idea, although it seems too CoD.
Id much prefer a 'Kick grenade' like in Medal of Honor, or to give it a more AoS theme to it, equip the shovel to bat a flying grenade away.

Just for the lols, you have to select the shovel to bat a grenade away.

sure, why not ? it doesn't need to be the most important thing to be added, but it would be pretty funny

Anyway, I think it would be a nice addition, but I rather see a "kick grenade" rather than pick it up and throw again.

If it was kick grenade, with AOS' rough environment, chances are that you'll kick it straight at a block and come back to you especially if you were in a trench so I think throwing would suit AOS better. As for batting with a shovel it wouldnt help ingame because its too slow switching to shovel unless you were playing spades and nades which would be cool so that would be nice to be impaled aswel.
But I dont really mind if it throw, kick of bat. Chances are ill keep running from grenades but I would like the addition

That would be funny, but a little suiciding as grenades have a 3-seconds timer before explosion.

I vote yes but with 2 conditions :
-no grenade indicator
-do not reset the timer, if the grenade is 2 seconds old, make it explode 1 second later like schreduled

I like this but in a way it would make grenades ineffective and people would just spam the "Throw Back" button.
For it to work it needs to have no indicator that the grenade is there and make it so you have to switch to the spade to hit it back as Paratrooper stated. While knowing how to cook the grenade is important some people like me like to set traps with their grenades, Having the enemy see it right away and just throw or kick it instantly would just be plain annoying.

this is a great idea. i've been thinking about some ideas for the shovel. for example, have you ever noticed that you block your face a bit when crouching with the shovel? this could be used to block headshots.

Add multiple grenades. I can see people throwing ALL of their grenades over a 2-high fence XD
