[POLL] How Many Guns Should There Be?

Got a great new idea for the game?

How many guns should AoS have?

How about this:
Two diffrent pistols; one revolver with higher dmg and range but slower and a normal pistol with higher ammo cap. faster with shorter range.
A hmg that you need to depoly to be able to use at longer range or else the bullets just fly everywhere.
A rpg, that spawns in crates at the base that holds for example 3 rpg:s with one rocket each. You can then choose to either take one by replacing your pistol or carry the crate to a position anywhere on the map.
I also think there should be similar crates for ammo and medkit.
I also think that there should be more potent explosives like tnt or c4 but with a long detonation time, for ex. 5 -10 sec with some kind of indicating sound so the enemy has a chance of finding the explosive and disarming it. That could be done either with some kind of disarming kit or just by shooting it.

I think we need Heavy Machine Gun - 150 bullets per mag, 1/2 SMG damage, less recoil than SMG but more inaccurate, no sprinting, HUGE recoil when not crouched.
Mortar - shoots grenades up to 5-6 map lines (A-F) and 50 ammo.
Basically it would be a step towards trench wars, that is so rare in other FPS.

Like it but only crouch to shot "accurate" would be to owerpowered , better to make it deploy-able like 5 sec. deploy on a wall.

LIKE. Ben was talking about the mortar but he just spoke like bla bla bla maybe mortar. Anyway a Mortar would fit PERFECTLY in aos cause it got big maps and buildings.

Yep also would make Trenches and Bunkers use-able cause you would deploy your HMG and Shelter and tunnels against the mortars. This would make aos a perfect game , i knew the most community is lamed now cause its just , run and gun and no tactic but this would change aos to the best direction it could.
AoS The worst game with the greatest potential .

One or two more guns wouldn't kill us. Maybe a decent-sized pistol with superquick reloads and loads of ammo at the expense of range and damage?

A good amount of different weapons, When I say different, I mean different, Not 2 rifles, Not 2 or more smg's, Different like Semi,Smg,Shotgun,Sidearm,melee and maybe some more weapons.

Personally, I'd like a BFG. Maybe a bazooka, RPG, plasma cannon, or heavy machine gun. Something that's massive and absolutely annihilates enemies and their positions. Balance would come from not being able to move very fast/ not being able to use the spade/ something like that.

And then I'd like a pistol or a revolver.

And that would make it five guns.

I meant I wouldn't want anymore different melee other than the spade.

Why there should be pistols? If you always run out of ammo, it's your fault and there is NO need of them.
Pistols would disbalance everything. Snipers then will defend against short range attacks, Shotguns will kill in bigger distance.

Except that snipers can already kill at close distance, and shotguns are a russian roulette, yesterday I killed a guy that was 70 blocks away from me.
And it is not for when you run out of ammo (although it would be used then too), but for when you are reloading and that shotgunner or submachinegunner pops out in your bunker.

Rifle (long range)
Smg (mid range)
Shotgun (short range)
RPG (explosive)
There's not much that can be added that dosn't cover old ground really :S

Yeah your right. Nothing else until someone fixes the BUGS and LAG In the game. Then move on to helicopters/ammo boxes and things like that.

I would like if AoS had C4 charges.
I know that will increase the intel camping, like on battlefield, but it has to be disabled by grenades
Just have fun with the others :D
