Removing/changing health icon

I find the icon to only be in your way, blocking your sight and clustering the hud. A newbie will realise it's your health the first time he is wounded anyway.
It also makes it so that your health isn't in the exact centre of the screen.

Atleast change it somehow, health and briefcases have nothing to do with each other.

Yeah, a couple of idiots kept asking one time how to use "medkits" I said, "There aren't any medkits on this server, but you would type /medkit."

Why dont you just edit in a way so that there is no icon. It is realy simple. You can find that icon in the png folder of the AoS directory.

My health would still not be at the centre.

Most people will never bother to edit these kind of things, and why would they need to.
If it's bad then it shouldn't be in the game.
