@lehma18 true that and thank you very much for your reply
Thanks to your replies guys, I have thought to make this a new suggestion or at least change the main content of this suggestion thread.
Having separate squad stats does nothing to fix the basic problem with statistics-driven game play. I stand by my previous post: When you have someone playing on a multiplayer team, you want them involved in the game they are in. You want them focused on the team effort. Individual stats breeds individual play. Having stats exclusive to while involved in a squad setting does nothing to mitigate the inherent flaw with this idea. You don't want to provide incentives for the player to play for themselves, or to play to buff their stats. You want them looking at the intel, not at their kill to death ratio or how many headshots they have achieved with the rifle. By awarding points for straightforward ways of helping your team such as killing the opposing forces, you draw emphasis of the more abstract ways in which a player can significantly turn the tide of a battle. Things such as digging tactical tunnel systems, strategic bases, and defensive emplacements are not rewarded, and as such, are discouraged. When you rate players on kills, you teach them to play for kills, not for the team.
Once more, individual stats are a bad idea, and will lead only to further propagate the unoriginal and unthinking spam fests that I left in favor of tactical and strategic games such as Ace of Spades. We want to encourage innovative, team based gameplay. Do not attempt to implement player ratings.
