Actually, the spade isn't silent, if you miss and hit a block, it will make the sound. If the knife is an import to AoS, it wouldn't make any sounds, maybe alittle swish through airsound, but it wouldn't make a loud sound when hitting blocks. The spade could be used for, well just digging. I like the idea, gives alil more stragety to the game, as when to have what tool out for what situation.

Yes .... maybe make the knife insta-kill. You can use the spade (no need to switch weapons) for a near silent 3 shot kill, or you can switch to the knife (take some time to switch to it) and use its AMAZING insta-kill ability to kill people.

Spade damage is different server to server, on some servers it IS insta kill. The knife serves no purpose other than to introduce an abritary item that brings nothing to the game other than to clog up the inventory screen, something we streamlined with the combining of spade and pickaxe.

And seriously this thread needs to quit being necrobumped.
