Intel Drop

I think it would be nice if their was an intel drop button. THis would help becuse if you are trying to sneak and accidently pick up the Intel giving away your position and duck (fail right?). (I find it easier to get the intel then when trying humm) Or when playing on maps like pinpoint. I want to get to their other side but in doing so you pick up the intel. sure you could just go along your merry way but if you die over on their side you just fucking handed them the intel.

Cons
could pick up then intel and take it some were to camp
2 people could be standing on top of each other spamming drop forcing other to pick up and them doing the same effectively spamming the chat
Pros
wont get alerted and then fucked (snake, snake, nooooo)

The intel is no longer on radar when taken by a player (works for both enemies and allies). I don't see why you would need it.

Intel doesnt give away your position anymore, and seeing as the main goal in CTF is to capture the flag, dropping it seems pointless unless you simply plan on spawn camping. Dropping it wont help you either as they already have been alerted to the fact youre there, except by dropping it youre showing them where you are. And how do you accidentally pick up the intel anyways?

I always memorize where the intel is and the surrounding terrain so I know the most likely path the enemy would take do you guys not?

OH MY GOD people! The intel drop would work the same way as it does in team fortress 2: you press a key to drop the intel you are carrying.

We were never questioning that. In tf2 theres a reason youd want to drop the intel, like oh say passing it from a heavy to a scout. Theres no reason youd want to drop intel in this game unless you wanted to deviate from the goal of the game.

Bull shit, if you actually did this (which in iteself is a pretty big claim for a game with an ever changing battleground) theres zero possibility of "accidentally" picking up the intel.

When I am defending I like to do that. When I am attacking on a small ass map like pinpoint I always fucking ick up the intel. I can either contine to the otehr teams structure to asslut and essentaly take the intel to them or drop it for my team to get.

So... Why not bring the intel you "accidentally" took to base?

Much better than waiting for another teammate to get it for you.
