I just thought of a pretty cool design.
It's easy to understand if you know engines. This design is also completely automated in every way.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

1)Dig around the body of water
2)lift it up
3)place it on NASA's crawler
4)drive it up hill

(for smaller things of water, adjusts steps accordingly, no need for the crawler if its just a glass of water after all!)

Use the power output of our Sun to power a large electric magnet, that will push the water uphill through a channel.

HollidaySpess beat me to the same idea, though I'd have to say a still is a more mechanical idea than just a tube, but it gets the job done.
