''Could not retrieve IP address''

Hello,
I am trying to host a server and everything went well, i connected to the master server and the server was created. It only said ''Could not retrieve IP address'' and i think that is the problem. how do i fix this.
I have a direct connect, therefore no router, so portforwarding is not required. Help!

This has been happening recently to me too.
I think it might be connected to spadille in some way, but it could just be coincidence.

I may be wrong but it might be your port forwarding. You might want to ask Enari or Tocksman who are experts at servers.

It seams like Whatsmyip.org change there format... the vanilla server uses that to get your external IP.

That's nothing to worry about, it should still work

thanks for response, well it doesnt show up on server list the the website. and as thats the only error i can see, i cant think of anything else. again, portforwarding should not be the issue. it connects to the master server etc. no problem.

well, you could allways try getting pyspades instead

It seams like Whatsmyip.org change there format... the vanilla server uses that to get your external IP.

Whatsmyip.org rejects the query because the User-Agent strings using the AoS server is "MSIE".
It seems that Whatsmyip.org thinks that the behaviour of AoS server is some sort of abusing of servises...

Can't you make another "whatsmyip" server other than whatmyip.org , or can't we describe the ip address in the config file directly in the future release of AoS server?

The same thing is happening to me!! Only once did it work!
I used psyspades and it said the same thing!!!
