Server Speed Tips?

Hi. I run a server called homeblock server. It averages about 150-200 ping full (22/22) I get messages in the console sometimes like, "warning, computing blahblah took 13 seconds" I have a toshiba satellite with 4 gb of ram and an intel pentium proccesor. I also run it through ethernet and I use gamebooster. Any tips?
