Help with start gates

Hey I have a map I and some friends made, but I edited the map and now I have been told I need to repaint start gates, how do I do this and Do i need to do it?

You're supposed to make arena gates of the same colour, you can't really do that in AoS, you have to do it in an editor like VoxED.
