Annoying sound glitch

Postby BlindSniper » Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:37 am

Everyone who ever changed sound effects in wav file will understand.

When you replace something there is a bug with random high-pitched sound to scratch your ears. IT IS VERY ANNOYING, TRUST ME. Is it anyhow manually fixable?

Edit your .wav file.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Remove the pinging sound.

If you want, just upload the .wav file and I'll edit it for you.

if you're talking about the respawn "beep" sound, then no.

GOD, ITS UNEXPLAINABLE. Only the players that experinced this bug will understand.

Not the respawn beep. It's either in your smgshoot, semishoot, or shotgunshoot sound files.

So, the only way to fix it is keeping every sound default?

Mmm, no.

I believe there's a sound of a shell casing dropping in your sounds.
