Fps Drop - Graphics glitch

Postby HOXTON » Sun Feb 19, 2012 1:05 am

I have a 2,4 ghz Dual core CPU (Core Duo) and when i look up "Jungle Map the most" i get a fps drop from constant 59 to 50-51, then turning while looking straight up causes also a graphics glitch that looks like extreme "(The opposite of Anti-Aliasing)" at the blocks i see up. I found this mildly - very disturbing in certain maps.

Now my friend has got a 2.4 ghz Quad Core (Amd phenom something) and he gets fps up to 35 when just doing stuff i do and don't even ask about looking up. So yea any fix/suggestions?

Would be very very very thankful for answers.
Cheers

One thing that causes lag is background programs. I have Intel(R) Core(TM) 2Duo CPU 2.00GHz
and when I have no other programs opened up like (Google Chrome, IRC Chat, Paint.net) it
runs smoothly. Another thing which I was told helps make it much more, smoother was the add-on
GreaseMonkey made.

Your "Opposite of Anti-aliasing" happens whenever you look up or down. It is expected to be fixed in the next update.

You don't have to worry about the frame rate drop. If I remember correctly, the cap for Frames per second is waaay lower than that.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.
