All Data Reset?

Someone help me? I installed SIMOX's player pack and when I started AoS, it asked for my name (when you install fresh copy of AoS and start it) and everything was reset. (Streaks and stuff) Help

You know, when you say /streak in the chat and it says Current Streak...Best Streak. Thos ehave all been set back to 0.

Streaks and that kind of crap rest to 0 after you leave the server. They only stay between map changes if you don't leave the server.

But it resets when you leave, no? Maybe it's special to a specific server 0_0

It acted like I was a newcomer to the game, asking for your in-game name and such. Is it related to the config.ini file in the Ace of Spades folder? All I did was replace my old player.kv6 files.

Yes, it's related to the config.ini. Streaks are server side, they don't get saved. Even your best streak is just your best one in that session, not forever.

Strange, my best streak was 34 and prior to this mishap, whenever I typed /streak in a server is would show my current streak and best streak.

When you install a new version of Aos your mod's are completely gone out the file, Put them back in or just download new one's, When you re-install it it's like you're starting back to when you first downloaded Aos.

And when you leave a game your streak's aren't saved.

This happened to me too. I dunno why, but it had me type in my name and all that too just like how it was when you first download AoS. But strangely all my gun skin and player skin mods were still there. They hadn't reset like yours. Idk I guess you'll just have to put in all your mods again.

happened to me too. good thing i made a backup of all my mods and settings.

but it think it was virus/malware related. something called playbyrte invaded my computer 3 weeks ago and while it's gone, and all scans came back clean, I'd found program settings, preferences wiped out, mods to AoS gone, and almost all my game screen shots erased! well i have my AoS stuff backuped a dozen times over but same can't be said for the screen shots :( all my awesome AoS achievements recorded by fraps, gone!
