Perhaps you just copied and pasted them in there, under whatever name they were. Or, maybe you didn't replace the originals with the new ones.

Make sure your files are named semi.kv6, smg.kv6... you MUST have a message asking you to erase current files, when you copy the skin to the folder (/Program Files/Ace of Spades/kv6 or something like that). If it's named "AK47.kv6" it will NEVER work, rename it

Or maybe you tried to change skin ingame and see nothing for now, just restart AOS as skin changes will not be seen before

Unless you use modloader.
