Because they want to join a bigger clan, and having a sub-section generally means your clan is more presitgious.

How can a clan get bigger if people leave the clans to join bigger clans , ??

I have a idea : if anyone make a topic with clan-presentations with tips and etc., clans can grow up ... i have alot of time but my english is'nt good enough for this art of work ._.

The main reason is probably accepting everyone who applies, for the sake of having more members. Think about it this way: each time one of your members enters a server or posts in the forums, imagine the bystanders as customers who may be interested in joining your clan if your member makes a good impression. When they see him/her acting poorly, people instantly turn away. It's nice to have a little kick-start to get going, but you will gain a lot less members in the long run.

This is very true. Not to mention that if you do this, most other clans, at least ones that know what they're doing, will look down on you.

People leave smaller clans for bigger clans for one reason.That reason is to become famous.I had the same thing before but now if I am in a smaller clan I will try to make it big not just join a big one to be famous like others think they will be.
