I've noticed lately that when using IRC, some clan members often stick to their own channel rather than socialising with people on other clan channels, so I've decided to compile an alphabetical list of all IRC channels currently used by Ace of Spades clans. This is a great way for clan members to get to know each other, not only inside their own clan, but with people from other clans, too. It should increase inter-clan co-operation and overall friendliness.

I have probably forgotten many channels and many more will be added in the future. If you would like your channel added to this thread, feel free to post on this thread with your channel name and the network you're using. If you do not state a network I will assume Quakenet, if the Quakenet link proves to be dead/non-existent, the channel will be removed from this list.
If you would like your channel removed from this list, either post here, PM me or contact me on the IRC and it shall be done, regardless of reason.
What's IRC?
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and is quite an old, yet effective method of communication between individuals, especially in a clan situation.
AoS clans predominantly use the Quakenet IRC server, a trend started when the official Ace of Spades channel, #AoS, was begun on that network. I truly recommend Quakenet as the clan network of choice, though there are others, such as Freenode or Espernet.
The simplest way to connect to IRC is to use webchat at http://webchat.quakenet.org. A good place to begin would be to type #AoS in the "Join" box, and many people there will be able to help you further. There are also several IRC tutorials scattered throughout the internet and these forums.
Note: Before joining #AoS, please take the time out to read Enari's thread found here: viewtopic.php?f=84&t=10372
Not only are these #AoS rules that you should follow, but are also highly relevant to most clan channels and will help keep the clan IRC community a positive one.
It should also be said that, even in webchat, one can join multiple channels. This is done by typing /join #channelname in the text bar, similar to an AoS command like /ratio (person), when you are already in a channel.
IRC clients may be of use to more advanced users, and two of my personal favourites are kvIRC and mIRC.
kvIRC - http://www.kvirc.net/
mIRC - http://www.mirc.com/
Several tutorials for these can be found online, once you're familiar with them they're very easy to operate and hugely beneficial to the overall IRC experience.
Happy IRCing! :)
