Tags on the forums are given when your clan becomes official, in game just edit your name in the disk:\aos\config.ini file.

You will have to create a thread for your clan under this section, the OP specifies thing that you should add but are not strictly necessary.

How do I make an IRC channel?

I can help you create it. First, you have to be able to /auth yourself (you have to register for it), afterwards you have to have 3-4 people in your channel for 3 hours. Afterwards, you request Q bot. If you want to, I can help you get Q bot tomorrow. Q bot makes you owner of channel, meaning no one can take over your channel.
