[LS] Ledyr Syndicate - Officially Retired

I never really noticed how much time and work it takes to run a clan, server and watching the clan members to make sure they are what they make out the be, plus actually play! I just wanted say thank you to Kibz for adding me to Ledyr Syndicate and for adding all of these wonderful Ledyrs to LS! I can't believe that you actually have time for all of this! I just respect you very much! Oh and I will be gone, going to the Zoo, I don't know which date yet but once I know, I'll tell you guys. Other than that, I just really love this clan, everyone is so nice and always say 'Hi' or something of that nature! As you know I didn't really fit in to my last caln so I really appreciate that. I know at least 1 person just fell asleep while reading this so I'm going to cut it off. -Lauren

Yeah, it's work. It's a lot of work. Lucky for me, I'm not working at the moment and not in school; so I got plenty of time to run it. I could run it even if I wasn't, just takes some quick 5 - 10 minute checks here and there. I have the server up, and I still haven't managed to do much about it.. I'd rather have LS help me out with what maps to pick and what not and what we should do for the whole process, like if we should keep it the way it is (minus having a terrible map rotation), or go Arena, possibly run two servers, maybe instead of private: Keep them public and keep one private just for the clan? Etc. etc.

Lots and lots of things to talk and think about.
Lol if you're going to the Zoo for a day, not a problem. Just let us know if you're going to be gone for like more than 2 or 3 days; it's just nice to know really, so we know what's up and everyone has a pretty good idea of what's going on in the clan ^_^

I try to only get people here that are going to talk a bit and at least try making an effort to supporting the clan lol. I have a couple members, exceptions rather, that really only show up in the game and occasionally on IRC (Luigi and AnAlien); but they're great company in-game and just a lot of fun lol. So some exceptions can be made xD
We're glad to have you Lauren! Depending on how active we get, how many members we get, and how busy I get.. I will probably be selecting another Admin for the clan no later than mid-september. It's a ways away, but it's really only like 4 weeks. I think a good leader should at least show he/she can be dedicated for 4 weeks.

So if anyone is interested in the admin position, just make sure you stay active, stay friendly, and help out. Doesn't mean you have to make siggy's, an IRC, a server, or whatever else.. Just be helpful to those who seek help in-game, on the forums, and on IRC.

Again, thank you for the post Lauren; it was very nice. Glad you could be a part of the family ^_^

I just saw [LS]Yogscast on and checked the members because I saw Ecchy write something about him. And He wasn't on the member list :O So I asked him 'Yogscast are you in [LS]?' and he replied 'No, i'm not Lauren' :OOOOO

I just need you guys to provide me with links to the right maps with the appropriate text files included for Arena ^_^
Those text files hold the spawn points and such.

If you can't find a text file, it's not a big deal; we can still make it happen.

As for Yogscast, and the other fake, "Aaron".. We don't tell them to do anything. We simply inform others that they are fakes :P Don't votekick them unless they are starting problems (e.g. Hacking, glitching, being too profane, etc. the regular rules).
Having a clan tag that isn't yours isn't against the rules, nor will it ever be I'd hope. Last thing I want is some admin telling me what I can and can't have in my name (unless it's offensive). Making a list of fakes now.

Well I asked Yogscast to take off the [LS] part of his name, and he said he will do it later, so he might take it off. My work here is done! ^_^ lol jk

Fixed the link, the sites were down and everything was on "Forum2," some weird internal glitch, they fixed everything back to the regular forum. I was on the forums when they were "down." Anyway. No big ^_^

That sounds like a good idea, I like that. I actually set up TSB with a different application process that I want to get working here.. We need "testers." I don't want to just do testing on other servers all the time.. Refer to This link for more information on the process I was trying to get TSB to go through with.

However, most of our members are qualified to be testers. The way this whole thing works is roles.. We don't do ranks. So if a player isn't much of a leader, but they are a GREAT gamer; then we want them to do testing :P Some can do a good job at doing it all, but I'd rather have 20 members be excellent at 1 or 2 things, than be just "good" at everything. Make sense?
