I clarify a few things so this doesn't become ermahgherd multiclannin',

LDR, or L.D.R.S.H.I.P is a relatively old AoS clan which topologist invited me, and subsequently Sax, to join. (More like "ok ur in clan now yay", but w/e") LDR is no longer an "AoS" clan, but simply a congregation of cool, like-minded guys who have their roots in the AoS community. In this way, it is similar to RoT, which I am also a member of. LDR requires us not to wear a tag, nor to be super involved with their affairs, but simply acknowledges our membership and permission to idle in their IRC, where we talk about...stuff. I hope I've explained that well :P

What about making recruitment like a vote?
So every member can vote on applications for 3 days.
If someone gets 85% yes hes in.
Atleast 15 members have to vote on one application.
Also Tin and Scipion can declare the vote for an app worthless and deny the applicant if they have a valid reason.

We already have a system in place with a secret IRC room set up to talk about these things when they come to call, however. If you have an opinion to give on an applicant, or perhaps some information you know about that individual that they neglected to mention in their application, drop by the IRC and tell us about them and your thoughts and opinions will be duly taken into consideration. I just don't think we'd have the time or organisational skills to make each member vote, but I'm sure Sax, Scipion, Tin and myself will be able to tell if there's an applicant the overall clan members don't like.

I love ideas like this, and tonight there'll be a thread where ideas like this can be submitted, and then they'll be reviewed by the leadership on a bi-weekly basis. Clan co-operation and sharing of ideas is always a good thing, who knows, you might come up with something brilliant :)

I very much like this idea, but like Kodiak said, it would take too much time and would be another thing that has to be done besides all the other clan related issues. You're still welcome to vouch for somebody or state a reason against :).
