First of all: Hi, i am not new to the game but this is the first time i post something in the forums (and i created this account 10 minutes ago....) And id like to say thanks for let me joining the forums of this awesome game.

Now: i know that many people suggested the use of helicopters, either for attack or transport, but i dont think thats a great idea with this map size, i think its way too small for the choppers to fly around. And before adding bigger maps, the devs should be thinking about changing that confusing view of the map repeating itself when you hit one of the edges of the map, i actually think using a small vehicle like a Jeep, a Humvee or a truck would be better, even better on urban maps.

I was thinkin on using vehicle spawns for gamemodes for example territorial control, Example:

The map is fully owned by Green, but sometimes there are a C-130 that appear on the sky where Blue players spawn, if the blue players cant gain controll of any spawn point before every blue member is dead, and every blue player dies, the C-130 will re-appear in the sky and the blue players will respawn there for try again to get any base.

Same can be said using transport choppers using either Random LZ, Host designated or Map designated LZ, or boats, for the WWII maps on the game

i though it would be great to call this gameplay mode "Assault", because that's what the blue team would be doing.

And i have also heard that with the addition of OpenGL to AoS, they are planning to make the game a payware.

Please no, i know the devs need money, but i think having ads would be a perfect idea (i dont care seeing a Chevrolet banner on the side of the team selection menu, as long as i dont have to pay for the game).

I have lost MC, King arthur's gold and i dont want to stop playing this game just because i cant buy it if its not on steam (my dad trust on steam, nothing else).

So, i was thinkin that using Ads would be great for the game so people can still play 100% free and many players would still be playing this game.

Please excuse any grammar mistake, i am not an english master, as my native idiom is the spanish.

Feel free to move this topic to another place if this is not the right place to suggest this kind of things, if i cant suggest some of those things, and this thread must be deleted, i am really sorry.

Oh, soooo how map is gonna be when it isn't repeating anymore?
Vehicles are suggsetd, as OP said, but.... Yea, may be a good idea.

i dont know, we can do the same BIS does and make infinite water/land? or that the people that make the maps should add a little bit more of terrain just for the appearance

i mean a repetetitive land/water pixel that cover your visibility outside the map

Maybe map makers can design their own Visibility Cover, like a map with a river, the cover wuold be... Morr land and moar river.

yes, i got confused with the repetitive map layer more than once when i was on the edge of the map

How's the map too small? The choppers don't have to fly 9001 m/h.

Land vehicles are out of question, Ben stated this last year. He said they won't fit the blocky theme of the game.

As for ads, yes. Ben should put ads on the site, even if it is pay to play. Server hosting isn't free, it would help atleast a bit and might even give Ben a slight motivation boost, not that i suspect he's running out of it. But a slight warning to Ben; When people put money into a game that's in development, they become your bosses. That's the way it works. If you don't do what they tell you to do, they will get angry, start speaking trash, grief and cheat to make the other players angry, even DDos the site, which will lead to you eventually getting pissed off and stopping the development. Finish the game before making people pay, then you're free to add what you want, when you want. Neil Yates of dead frontier made the mistake i fear you will do too, even thought you seem like the coolest guy on earth.

well, talking about the helicopters, at least id wich you could carry between 6 and 10 players, and they should have realistic physics and depending on the chopper, fastroping maybe for deploying players in mountains (most of the maps are based on mountains) And the only game i knew it had succed being a payware before relase was minecraft, and even if AoS get fully relased, i hope it doesn't change from being a freeware, id like to see a popular, fun and balanced free game, because the only good free games are P4F, and they are unbalanced as f**k, also, what do you think about the assault gamemode? i think its a good try to make people start thinking about tactics and not so much about COD
