1. Make other render for the weapon. Not squares, a small cubes(like on a screenshots from a editor)
2. Secondary and primary weapon. The handgun forever in inventory(ex. Rifle+handgun, SMG+hangun, shotgun+handgun)
3. A 4th weapon - sniper rifle(with a scope) more slowly, but very good optical scope with zoom
4. Map is the two files - vxl map and file with info about spawns(setting spawn areas in vanilla servers)

1. I believe the OpenGL client will have this.
2. Would love to have a pistol, though people argue that the grenade and spade-melee makes up for this
3. Not so much a fan of this, mainly because the semi is good as it is.
4. Pyspades has this feature. I don't think it's on priority to be added into Vanilla.

you know why it takes so long for games to come out. they have so many good weapons they need to re balance them so the sniper rifle is a know and you can already get 1hit kills with the semi. Another reason they take longer to came out is they need to fancy up the graphics. AoS uses cubes because it is easiest to make models with there updates can be released faster. As yiou stated you can already makes spawns with vanilla servers so whats your point? Hand gun have been suddgusted many time and shot down becuse yest again they would unbalance the game.

DNSL and 1st idea will probably be implemented in the next OpenGL client.
