Servers for experienced people

Got a great new idea for the game?

Servers for experienced people

Postby bov930527 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 11:58 pm

I am sick 'n tired of seen people build useless red castles at A-1 area, rather than helping to protect the intel, that have come here in a believe that this is a free-to-play version of minecraft.

My suggestion is: let the experienced players have their own servers that only they may join.

How would we know if a person is experienced? Most obviously by the number of total kills he ever made in this game. And I'm not speaking of kill streaks, I'm speaking of total kills ever. Lets say 5000. At the point where a person has done a total of 5000 kills in this game I am sure to assume that they are experienced and know what the game is about. Plus it shows that they actually DO something.

I say let the game count and save our kills after we exit a server and once somebody reaches 5000 he/she can creat and/or join a server for "experienced" people. (The number "5000" can off course be altered to larger or smaller amount depending on what community thinks.)

What do you guys think?

Nope, but I suggest for one to be encoded.

Some people might need help from pro's at AOS. If all the good people in AOS go to their special servers, then the people who are not so good at the game might never learn their much needed skills.

Yes, that is indeed a good point. Perhaps then tournaments? So that people who actually try have a chance to shine. Or we could simply have limited amount of these "pro"-servers. Like 5 or something.

Generally, the highest I see players in a server at any given moment on a weekday is sixteen hundred.

Taking away the upper tenth of the playerbase will leave you the kind of deuce that spams in all caps, builds 1block thick 3block high walls everywhere, and accuses everyone of hacking on down to the brain dead builders too busy building dicks and creepers to use their rifles.

Two or three servers for experienced players wouldn't be too bad but it'd still devalue the gameplay on the other servers by a significant amount.

Your implying the good people actually help the Deuces. Really I can only think of a few people too. IMO teaching new players is more of a server admin job.

I wouldn't be apposed to this, However I can see the servers getting little to no use.
