I know I'm not the only person who finds it rather frustrating when I'm on an American server with ping below 70, but can't hit anyone or walk in a straight line due to lag caused by foreigners. Not to mention the language barrier which makes teamwork near impossible.
I propose that there be an option for server admins to automatically block players from other regions or countries.

No racism intended. The flags are on the server list for a reason, but some people seem to ignore that. I'm not hating on foreign people. I think its equally annoying to hear my friends complain of lag when they play on foreign servers.

Yea, but there is a slight chance that most (if not all) USA servers would turn this option on, and you would be left with servers that you are techinically close to, but show immerse ping. (I mean, I'm in Poland, but Polish servers seem to have some of the highest pings out there!)

imagine if every server turned this on. There are barely any UK servers anymore, and I and many others would not be able to play

I just made a server recently on my computer. It wouldn't be hard for somebody of a different nationality to do the same.
