Global Server Admins

Ok, hacking isn't funny, and it's ever worse when there's a hacker on a server run by an admin who is too lazy to move his backside so that he can ban them.
This is an Idea I have had for a long time:
Branching from the gbl, there will be a group of players (Trusted of course) who have access to become admin on any server (instantly if possible), e.g pyspades recognizes their IP and automatically gives them admin on that server so that they can ban players permantly who are hacking (they can grab their IP etc.)

Advantages:
*The crackown on hacking will be much easier.
*Servers that are unmoderated (e.g JestServers) will finally have someone to dispell the hackers.
*hacking will be less of an epidemic.

Disadvantages:
*Players who are chosen could abuse their power *COUGH* Enari *COUGH* (only joking :P)
*It's unlikely, but hackers could end up being able to hack it so that they can make themselves admins.
*To be effective, we would need alot of people involved.

If it needs anymore explanation, just ask (I'm, unwell so this isn't easy. Y U NO WORKIE BRAIN).

EDIT:
Due to all the controversity this was causing in #AoS, to add this (GSA stands for Global Server Admin).

When joining a server (probably pyspades) the GSA will automatically login via pyspades reconisgsing their IP (or something along those lines) once logged in, the GSA can:
Type /IP [User] to get the hackers/griefers IP
type /ban [User] to ban the hacker/griefer
type /tpsilent [User] so that they can see if the hacking/griefing is legit
type /invisible so that they can sneak around silently to check the players

If they find that the hacking/griefing is real, they can then add the cheating player to the gbl.

I think we'd be more selective than "whoever called it first" when it came to picking Global Administrators. :P

Anyway, I've been in favor of this since the beginning. Even though I think this may have been suggested before, I think it deserves a chance. Other games, like King Arthur's Gold, have done this and it's worked out pretty well. Ace of Spades requires this more than more because of the lack of anti-cheat as well as the immense amount of griefers that infest servers. The only problem would be servers not wanting this implemented and disabling it, since this would have to be voluntary like the global blacklist.

Instead of appointing friends of yours and those badly pleading for it, you should appoint admins in different timezones.
That way there will nearly be an admin always logged on the server 24/7

This idea is a good idea overall, but I am confused this:
-Would server hosts be able to turn this off?
Server hosters should have the choice to allow random people that they don't know to administrate their servers.
Also, what if you're in a public area with multiple people on one IP? If someone decided to play AoS on that server, what would happen? I think you should still have to have a login password if this happens.

I agree with the overall concept of this, but I don't agree with some of the details you have mentioned.

I disagree with this idea.

It is NEVER a good idea to give that much "power" to one person, when it will effect all the game servers. No matter how much you trust these people, their opinion will be bias. Much better to spread the power out, give certain amounts to certain people.

ALSO, if i set up a pyspades server and run it, why right does some random have, to come in MY server and start kicking/muting/banning on his jurisdiction? even if it CAN be disabled and enabled, I highly doubt many people would want to use it.

Then why do people use the GBL? It's the same thing except a bit less convenient.
