No need for clone weapons with slightly different stats, especially not specific models or makes, seeing as we have such a great customization community.

I totaly agree , why tha f*** do you need weapons when u have slab6 , so u want an m16, you just enter it and add some blocks , it is so easy ,I think that Ken should leave these 3 weapoons , beacuse they can be modded into everthing ,you can even mod rifles into PISTOLS.

Ken? I think he doesn't have that much power in the AoS world. :D
You can't get sniper zoom with a modded scope, or you can't shoot explosive rockets with a few kv6 models.

Again I ask what will be the special "something" about these weapons?

If it doesnt add anything to the game other then feeding the gun nuts then its not worth the programming hours

Everything thats a gun in the suggestions is not going to be added in the game.

I think there should be a sniper weapon, though.

The semi can one hit-kill anyone point blank, and from far away in a matter of seconds.

An automatic, an assault, a shotgun, and a sniper. Sounds good to me. The difference between the rifle and the sniper would be that it could one-hit kill anyone with a headshot, have a smaller clip, and slower fire rate.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

@Paratrooper the semi can kill by headshot at any distance so a sniper that has a smaller clip and is slower is kinda pointless.

They aren't 100% equal in every way, and that's how it's supposed to be. Rifle is for long-medium range, but skilled players can use it in close-encounters as well. It's the best weapon, IN SKILLED HANDS. Shotgun and SMG take rifle down easily at close/medium range, if you stop to think for a while and don't rush straight into sight of the rifleman like a retard. Sneak behind him, then take a shot. Or just spade him. Why do people even use the shotgun, it's completely useless. And not becourse other weapons are OP, or not becourse shotgunners can't play. It just doesn't fit into the large, open terrains of AoS. Even most of the custom-made maps aren't fit for the shotgun.

Only nerf the Rifle WHEN a sniper weapon arrives.
We won't want to nerf the rifle now, there wouldn't be a sniper stealth class. It wouldn't make sense if there were two long-range weapons that can one-hit kill, now won't there be?
(Also, I already said that I COULND'T suggest it. You don't have to be too grouchy about your opinion. I already know how to play all four weapons proficiently.)
