Gun recoil is improved.

Got a great new idea for the game?

Gun recoil is improved.

The gun recoil in this game is kind of weird to me. Usually when shooting a gun (mainly a machine gun) in a game like say battlefield (i'm not comparing it's an example) the sight/hip fire will continue going up as long as I spam press the trigger or keep holding it down but then when I let go it resets back to the position that it was aiming at. Search of some videos of CoD or Battlefield to see what I mean.

I think that if the recoil was more like the recoil in those games (especially battlefield) then it would benefit both old and new players. Plus the recoil can be edited so it's like if you hold the mouse down for about 3 seconds when your gun shoots it will be like 3x up from where it was, so this way the smg could still have a lot of recoil but would be easier to aim.
I think the hardest part about AoS is winning.

In real life your gun does not simply lower itself to its original position, this is not CoD. I myself have never had any problem with this feature.

Dear Shocker345,

It would not benefit anybody except newbies, because it allows for true recoil control. You have to actually work to control recoil.

In real life there isn't that much recoil.

Have you ever even fired a machinegun? Unless you have the correct stance and/or strong hands & experience in firearms, you wouldn't even be able to hold it in your hands. Of course, the amount of recoil varies by what gun you are using. Oh, and IRL, you don't pull the trigger and wait for the mag to run out of bullets, you fire in controlled bursts. You should do this in the game, unless you aren't giving coverfire.

I like the recoil system we have now. In games like Call of Duty, it makes things too easy to be able to hold the sight over someone and tap single shots and let the sight instantly snap back to where it started between shots.

If you've ever fired an actual firearm, it doesn't magnetically snap back to your original aimpoint. You have to aim back down yourself.

Not that I've been to war or anything, but I'm pretty sure the persons using the machine guns would lower the gun afterwards manually :p
