Balancing weapons,Silent tunelling

Hi there, this is pretty much my first time posting on forums about this subject.

My first idea consists in balancing the weapons by increasing the power of the rifle and the shotgun:

-Shotgun:The current 1960's Remington Model 870 model has only 60 rpm, and yes it's meant to be used in close range only but even in a face to face situation you can always miss, and by the time you finish loading one more bullet in the guns chamber you'll be dead if your facing a opponent with a rifle or a smg.

TL;DR The idea is changing the current shotgun to a sawed or sawn-off shotgun model that has a 2x(52*) that is able to shoot faster twice without the recoil of the remington.

-Rifle:Enlarge the visibility of the rifle to make it more sniper-ish because it's not really fair that a smg and a rifle have the same range, maybe adding a scope or something.

Silent spading- Simple idea, I think it has been requested, but still, dig or tunnel with no noise by pressing v while digging,because the current spade makes too much noise and ruins the "surprise factor".

I agree with more ideas that have been suggested but this is a simple game, which is already fun without all the classes or the med kits, etc.

The shotgun is under-powered, sure, but i don't like your shotgun idea. We just need to make it with more firepower. And shotgun currently is (almost) 1-hit KO already, just because the too wide spread makes it useless.

Rifle? Meh, the rifle here is a battle rifle, not a sniper rifle, so no scopes-like-zoom or something here.

Silent spading? Also no, because you can just use the alternate right-click-3 block clear spade function. It's much more silent, it's not too loud, but really, you don't want the spade completely silent, don't you? Very small noise, but very, very long to dig a single block.

2)Fog is too close to justify sniper scopes
3)Rifle's fine

The noise is the only way to counter tunnelers before they emerge and counter enemys (or friendlys) destroying buildings, removing that removes most of the risk in tunneling or destroying a building for example.

Shotgun will be more then fine in the next update, no need to worry about it.

Thanks for the feedback both of you, and I guess you're right I didn't think about all the aspects of the suggestions and how would they affect the game because I've posted kind in a hurry.
