Gradual zoom

Hiya,
Aiming down the rifle/smg/crapgun does not do gradual zoom, it just zooms immediately.
By gradual, i dont mean over time you'll zoom in further, rather 1 second and it full zooms in (leik a camera)
its hard to explain :/

Its not a very useful feature, but it would be good for aesthetics, and easier on the eye.

You mean instead of like " SMACK BAM ZOOM" it would be more like feeling like the player actully lifted the gun to his eye?

I not sure what advantages it would give, only really an aesthetic thingy and wondered what you guys think

I rather have no zoom at all.

It doesn't helps anything all it does Is just take like 2 more seconds to zoom in. Not very helpful to the game.

We would need a zoom animation to do this and how would it go from the kv6 in game to the png without looking weird

not an animation of bringing it to the eye, but rather a camera zoom.
There is no need for animation when aiming down sights (ie. bring it to 'yo face)

well if you just want it to gradually zoom, it's almost utterly pointless..
