I"m not saying it takes a long time. The point is, you forget, or people misspell, or there's too much activity in the chat and your intended squadmates miss your message.
I'm not unfamiliar with autohotkey, but I think it's too much to expect people to install AutoHotkey just for this OR to trust me to provide a safe compiled script.
@scarfacemperor: exactly, and I'm talking about a configuration option in the AoS client, NOT some mandatory thing you're forced into. If you don't want it, make it 'none' and it won't automatically join a squad for you. If you were in an active clan with players that you trust you'd set your automatic squad to your clan name just like everyone else in your clan and it would be very helpful.
